Hello Jason,

  Sorry for missing you on Sunday. We went out to get some gifts for
our family and friends back home. During the trip, we were all very
well taken care of by Michelle and Si Fu. We encountered some tricky
situations on the road (charges for taking photos at a pass, charges
for 'damaging' road surface by driving over a stone, etc) but these
were promptly resolved by both the guide and the driver.

  Here are some feedback. We were satisfied with all the lodgings
provided except for the one in Daocheng. The Daocheng hotel's
electricity kept tripping and the aircon unit was too weak to heat up
the cold room. Throughout, lunches and dinners were generally very
good. The breakfasts provided by hotels are quite bland though. Of
note, we were surprised that we had to pay for Lijiang town fee.
Fortunately, it was the only fee we had to pay ourselves. We had
assumed all such fees were catered for in the tour costs.

  Si Fu made sure we reach our destinations quickly and safely while
Michelle provided interesting historical and cultural insights to the
people and places that we visited. They were invaluable. Thanks for a
safe and very scenic trip. China is indeed a very beautiful country.

Dear Jason,
 
after a good flight to Germany we are back home now
and everybody is well.
We like to thank you for the good organisation of this tour.
It was again very exiting.
We like to thank you also for the flexible and uncompliated way
of helping when we changed the hotel in Pingyao and in Taian.
The Yide hotel in Pingyao was very nice and gave the feeling
to stay in ancient times and we remembered the film "Raise the red lantern".
 
We had a lot of new and positiv impressions during our tour. Everybody was
friendly and helpful.

Hi there Jason,

Just wanted to say thank you again from Mim and I, we really had a fantastic time, and Myles was an excellent guide.

I also wanted to tell you a bit of a funny story. Yesterday's train from Chengdu to Kunming ended up leaving a little late. We didn't pull away from the train station until 9.15pm! Oh well, what can you do.
