Dear Ma:
I am one of the members of the Spanish group, from Saragossa, that you accompanied on our journey for six of the main cities of China between October the 8th and the 20th.
First of all, I apologize for my poor level of English. First of all, my second language is French, not English, and moreover, I am an Economist, not an English teacher, but I understand that my knowledge of the Shakespeare language is not enough to explain you with the appropriate words my impressions of the journey and my congratulations for your personal work.
I know we were a difficult group because of the number, fifty people, and over all, because we were very different ones of the others. People with different level of culture . And the worst, very different interests: for me, for example, the first was to see art and learning as much as possible about Chinese History. I loved palaces, temples, gardens, pagodas, museums…and to watch how people live, their habits, and their way of life. For others, the main interest was to go shopping: what a pity¡
In spite of all these problems, your work was especially good. You passed all the obstacles and, moreover, always with a smile. In this regard all the group agreed. So, congratulations.
I want you to congratulate too our guide in Beijing, called Jin. He was the better guide of the six cities we visited. He did a very good work. His explanations were wide and we noticed he knew very well what he was explaining about. I know he finished exhausted the four days he stayed with us. So, I want to thank him for all that.
I hope to back to China one day. You told me the autonomous region of the Tibet and the south west of your country were especially beautiful. Maybe one day I will visit them.
Now, thank you for all, and, you know, you are invited to visit Spain. You know my E-mail address and my telephone number. You will be welcome. In the meantime I hope you learn a bit more Spanish with that book you bought in Xian…
You can show this mail to your boss. He (or she) must know you are a very good professional.
I am sorry for my little and bad English and I hope you to forgive me for that.
Yours sincerely,
Maite TEJERO DE ANTONIO
